A Brief Explanation of gomie, by Dave Wasyliw

"So it turns out the proper pronunciation of my name is Wah-sell-you. Not only have I been saying it wrong, but I have been correcting almost everyone who has attempted to say my name since I could say it myself. I would always say, "nice try, but it is Wah-si-lou". Wah-si-lou, or Wah-sell-you? Either way its not going to fly as a stage name (unless I become a star Ukrainian dancer or something), so gomie it is. gomie has been used as long as (and sometimes more often than) my legal name. You don't have to call me gomie, you can call me Dave. I prefer Dave. But if you buy a record, I would prefer you bought a gomie record :D"
